Ramya Subramanian (VJ Ramya) is an Indian Actress & Influencer. She was born on 30 July 1986 in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India. She is known for her role as ‘Ramya’ in the film “Master”. She won the Gold Medal in state-level Powerlifting Championships.

Early Life

Ramya Subramanian studied at ‘Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan’. Later, She attends ‘Adarsh Vidyalaya’. She did her graduation in Visual Communication from ‘M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women’ in Chennai. She is the daughter of ‘Subramanian’. Her mother’s name is ‘Vasanthi’. Ramya married ‘Aparajith Jayaraman’ in 2014. In 2015, The couple gets divorced. She was the writer of the book ‘Stop Weighting’. She also participated in Chennai Marathon in 2023.

Career

Ramya Subramanian started her career in 2002 with the tv show “Kedi Boys Killadi Girls”. In 2007, She performed as ‘Pannaiyar’s daughter’ in the movie “Mozhi”. She played the character of ‘Ananya’ in the movie “O Kadhal Kanmani” in 2015. In the same year, She acted as a ‘Reporter’ in the film “Massu Engira Masilamani”. In 2019, She played the role of ‘Jennifer’ in the film “Aadai”. She appeared as ‘Lakshmi’ in the movie “Sangathalaivan” in 2021.
