Rajkummar Rao is an Indian actor. He was born on 31 August 1984 in Gurugram, Haryana, India. He is known for his role as ‘Pritam Vidrohi’ in the film “Bareilly Ki Barfi”. He was the winner of the “Filmfare Awards – Best Supporting Actor” for this film.

Career

Rajkummar Rao started his career in 2010 with the film “Rann”. In 2017, He played the character of ‘IAS Satyendra Mishra’ in the film “Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana”. In the same year, he appeared as ‘Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’ in the web series “Bose: Dead/Alive”.

He acted as ‘Vikrant “Vicky” Parashar’ in the film “Stree” in 2018. In 2020, he played the role of ‘Alok Kumar Gupta’ in the film “Ludo”. In 2023, he did the music video “Achha Sila Diya”. In the same year, He worked as ‘Surya Kumar Singh Tikas’ in the film “Bheed”.

Rajkummar Rao did his schooling at ‘Blue Bells Model School’ in Gurugram. After that, he completed his 12th from ‘S.N. Sidheshwar Senior. Sec Public School’. He learns theatre from ‘Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College’ (University of Delhi) and ‘Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra’. Later, He did an acting course at the Film and Television Institute of India. His father’s name is ‘Satya Prakash Yadav’ (Haryana revenue department; Died in 2019). His mother’s name is ‘Kamlesh Yadav’ (Died in 2016). His brother’s name is ‘Amit’ and his sister’s name is ‘Monika’. He married ‘Patralekha Rao’ on 15 November 2021 in Chandigarh.
